Renovation

When Healdsburg Performing Arts Theater purchased the Raven Theater, the facility had suffered from deferred maintenance. With the help of the City of Healdsburg, our first effort was replacing the roof.

Improved Performance Area

Through grants, we have improved the performance area by tripling the capacity of our lighting system, upgrading our sound system, and expanding the size of the stage.

Raven Theater Planned Total Renovation

After receiving input from the acting community, our current users and other interest groups in Healdsburg we engaged Jon Worden Architects in early 2010 to start design work for the complete remodel of the theater. Subsequently we received a RDA grant from the City of Healdsburg in mid 2010 funding the architectural drawings and related design expenses. Upon completion of this design work by the end of 2010 it will be possible to get total construction cost estimate which will guide us in our upcoming capital campaign.
