The 60's come alive this year, so bring on your costumes:
flower power, love beads, tie dye, gogo boots......

GET YOUR GROOVE ON
for the THE ZANY fundraiser they've all
been talking about..

An all-male parody of the event everyone loves to hate: the anachronistic beauty contest. Come watch local gentlemen vie for the (plastic) crown by competing in all the usual categories: beachwear, formalwear, talent, and interview. This is a FUNDRAISER for the Raven, and your votes (with $$$) help determine the finalists.

MUST BE 21 to attend! ID will be checked at the door.
Attendees cannot bring their own alcohol -
bags will be checked by our security force.

OUR REIGNING 2012 MR. HEALDSBURG

Chris Herrod

Mr. Six String

I want to be Mr. Healdsburg because Mike Bairdsmith told me I would be a good candidate and he is much, much bigger than me. Seriously, I was born and raised in Healdsburg --I love this town and I love the theater. Plus I look great in a sash. I work for a company that supplies exotic woods and tools to guitar makers. I married Geyserville native Briana Byrd 6 years ago and have two amazing sons; Arlo 5 and Henry 3 --all of whom love and support the Raven Theater! I am interested in politics, Buddhism and philosophy in general and I am a great fan of our local wine and beer industries. My greatest joy these days is writing and performing my songs and wrestling with my boys!

Intriguing Facts: I was born in the old hospital on Johnson St. I once spent a month living on a naked, new age commune. I have never had a cavity. I used to play in a rap band: the notorious Rapsputin! I once worked as a hypnotherapist.

Poss Pragoff

Mr. Wrinkly Realtor

Why do I want to be Mr. Healdsburg? I don’t. But they begged me to bring my charisma, vibrant personality, and manifold skills to lift the intellectual tone of the event. In a weak moment, I succumbed. Authored the best-selling novel "Down to the Wire." Was the political director of the Pat Paulsen for President campaign in 1968, and am the lead singer in the trio "Cocktail Frank & the Twin Wrinklies."

Intriguing Fact: Descended from Captain Samuel Postlethwaite who served under George Washington in the American Revolutionary War.

Scott Lindstrom-Dake

Mr. Thumbprint

"A man should look for what is, and not for what he thinks should be." – Winestein’s cousin, Albert Einstein. Also for a chance to give back to our community. Co-owner/winemaker at Thumbprint. I am a winemaker with a little bit of a "naughty" side. I spent a lot of time at our family’s vineyards growing up, when I wasn’t in Tahoe skiing, plaing rugby, or reading the articles in Playboy magazine.

Intriguing Fact: On my college application I wrote "My goal after graduating is to give back to my community." Since 2000, Thumbprint Cellars has helped local charitable foundations by donating over $60,000.

Intriguing Fact: I’m so hot that I spontaneously combusted and had to spend 3 weeks in the burn unit.
