STAR: Vesta Copestakes

Vesta Copestakes is publisher of the Sonoma County Gazette, our 100% local magazine dedicated to building community through encouraging participation in community life. The Gazette’s motto is Love Where You Live, and Vesta loves to educate her readers about issues that impact our environment, our economy, and our personal lives through articles, community columns, and a comprehensive calendar.

Vesta has been publishing the Gazette for 17 years, expanding the magazine’s reach over time to include all communities, large and small, throughout Sonoma County. The print edition can be found at more than 1,000 locations and online at

Because the Gazette is committed to supporting the arts, we publish reviews of books, films, music, artists, and live theater. Vesta loves to dance, so becoming one of the Raven Performing Arts Theater's Dancing with the Stars performers seemed like a good way to support theater while having fun.

PRO: Rod Rehe

Rod Rehe is a veteran dancer, who started performing first in tap dancing and square dancing (a bit of variety there) when he was a kid. After a several year hiatus while he was becoming a chiropractor, he returned to dance, and has performed with several groups, in a variety of styles. He also has done choreography for both dance shows and musical theater. He is thrilled to have this opportunity to help the Raven Theater in its efforts to promote the arts, and hopes the audience will have as much fun as he has!
