STAR: James Brandt

James Brandt is the Principal of St. John the Baptist Catholic School in Healdsburg, where he has served the school community for two years. He has a MA in Operations Analysis, and he is currently working on his MEd in elementary and secondary education. Teaching is a second career for James, and it follows 24 years of service in the US Navy as a Surface Warfare Officer. James grew up with two younger brothers in San Diego, and a mom and dad who were very active with barbershop chorus and quartet singing throughout his childhood. Music has always, and continues to be, a real passion in his life. He was in marching and concert bands in high school, and in a show choir in college, where he was first exposed to ballroom dancing. James has even performed on the stage in community theater productions of Bye, Bye Birdie and Shenandoah.

PRO: Jenifer Goss

Jenifer Goss has been dancing since she was six years old and teaching dance since age 16. She holds a BA in Dance from UCLA and is a Professionally Certified Ballroom & Latin Dance Instructor by Dance Vision International. She has traveled the world as a professional dancer entertaining our troops overseas through the USO/DOD program. Jenifer is passionate about living, and sharing, the powerful gifts of dance, such as deepened connection to oneís self, improved expression of uniqueness and authenticity, increased self-acceptance, not to mention the numerous mental and physical health benefits, and pure joy! Her greatest dance love is partnership dancing which she has been blessed to share with her husband for 20 years. Jeniferís deep respect for the wisdom of the body led her into her work as a Somatic Psychotherapist where she enjoys incorporating aspects of movement and improved connection to oneís body for therapeutic healing.
