STAR: David L. Hagele

David Hagele is a candidate for Healdsburg City Council, a small business owner, father and community leader. David spent much of his youth in Japan, returning to the US during his high school years. After graduating from Pacific Union College, David worked with a small real estate company before starting his own real estate consulting firm, DLH Realty Capital, based in Healdsburg.

David’s community involvement includes service as past President of the Active 20-30 Club #50, and helping to save the 4th of July Fireworks Show at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds during the 2009 budgetary crisis. David is also a member of the Healdsburg Chamber of Commerce, Sonoma County Alliance, and Good Morning Healdsburg, as well as a regular participant at Healdsburg City Council meetings.

David and his wife, Laurie, share their passion for giving back to the community where they’re raising their children, and want to improve the quality of life for the next generation of Healdsburg residents.

PRO: Gloria Rubio

Gloria E. Rubio-Verduzco completed a dual Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Theater Arts (Dance Concentration) from Sonoma State University. She has directed, choreographed, and performed dance throughout the Bay Area since 2008. Additionally, she is a certified labyrinth walk facilitator, a handmade beadwork artist, and teaches children and adult dance and jewelry-making classes. Gloria is passionate about combining the use of arts and creativity and somatic awareness and expression for individual and community healing, and her passion has developed into board participation and arts coordination for a variety of local non-profits. Gloria is currently pursuing a PhD in Psychology with a concentration in Movement, Dance, & Expressive Arts at Meridian University.
