Dance Style: Night Club 2 Step
Music: “Pink” by Aerosmith

STAR: Carol Noack

Carol Noack has dreamed of being a dancer since reading On Your Toes, Susie as a child. Sadly her sisters were always quick to point out her lack of coordination and frequent “twirling into walls.” So instead she followed a career in high-tech marketing. Now she’s a full-time volunteer. She uses her business skills as a member of the board of the Raven Performing Arts Theater, fosters cats for Forgotten Felines, assists AAUW with marketing projects, and is known as “the anthem girl,” singing for local Little League and Prune Packer baseball games. She also runs the Raven’s Mr. Healdsburg Pageant fundraiser each year, which has brought her both fame and infamy. And at long last, for this night only, she’ll live out her dream as a dancer! Hugs to her patient pro, Eddie V, and her biggest supporter, husband Denny.

PRO: Eddie Vedolla, Jr.

Eddie Vedolla, Jr., has won numerous dancing awards, including Jr. Country World Dance Champion and World Swing Dance Champion. He has placed second in two categories at the US Open Swing Dance Championships. His love of dancing stemmed from cheering his parents on in dance competitions (skipping school to stay in cool hotels and hang with fun-loving people weighed heavily in his enthusiasm).

After a lucky encounter with “King of Swing” Buddy Schwimmer, he focused on learning all he could about dance and teaching dance. Since age 20, he has taught dance at popular studios in Southern California, and most recently at Mendocino College. He works closely with several nonprofit performing organizations to help grow dance in his community. His passion has remained unwavering; he loves to share his belief that the social, health, and psychological benefits of dance are immeasurable.
